Finish Strong
Like many of you, I’m counting down the days until Summer. We’ve got a full Summer calendar set at Restore with lots of opportunities to connect with each other, our community and neighbors, and also to grow in our journey to become more like our Teacher and Savior Jesus.
However, in our excitement and anticipation of an exciting and great Summer, I don’t want us to overlook the open doors and opportunities that God still has planned for us in these last few weeks of the school year.
There are still connections that God has planned for you to make, relationships that you all have been investing in all year (or maybe for multiple years), and broken and hurting people that God has intentionally placed within your sphere of influence where He is wanting YOU to be His voice.
So, stay engaged! Be present here, now, in THIS season. Remember, God is ALWAYS working. That means that just as He has worked powerfully and beautifully in the past to bring you to this present season, and just as we know that He will work faithfully in the future – He is still working NOW…in the present!
I’m excited for everything that God will do this Summer and beyond; but He’s not finished with this season yet, and we shouldn’t be either. So, let’s keep showing up, let’s finish this season strong, keep saying “Yes!”, and keep speaking for Jesus!
