Yo-Ho! Away We Go VBS recap
What an AMAZING week!!!
We are truly blessed to be a Church Family with a loving Father like our Heavenly Father! This week was such a tremendous and powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness, the power of His love, and how He is always working through us when we have the courage to show up and embrace who He is calling us to be, and what He is calling to.
This week we all witnessed the power of God’s Church getting out of their comfort zones, pouring every ounce of their energy and faith into the world and the people around them. It was a fun, exciting, chaotic, exhausting, powerful, beautiful, and transformative experience!
Jesus was shared with so many precious little ones; His love was felt and tangibly shown to everyone who was there; and make NO MISTAKE about it…lives will be changed by the seeds that were planted this week!
Weeks like this remind me that my jaded mind often doesn’t look for or even believe in miracles anymore; but our Father in Heaven performed more miracles this week than we can wrap our minds around. Whether it was some of you in our Church Family showing up and participating in your first VBS, and doing things that are out of your comfort zone; or if it is the lives of the children and families who might have had their first taste of Jesus – I promise you that there were miracles taking place all around us on the level of Jesus being raised from the dead!
This is only the beginning!
In the weeks and months that follow, God will continue His work in us and through us as long we continue to have the courage to show up, be present, and embrace where the Spirit is leading us to go.
There are more miracles in store for us, and there are many more powerful and beautiful weeks ahead for us; so let’s keep pouring every ounce of faith that we have into everything that God has planned for us!! Love you all!!
